Bagger Dave’s First Franchisee Is Also Its First Restaurant Outside Michigan

Southfield-based Diversified Restaurant Holdings Inc. has signed up the first franchisee for its Bagger Dave’s Legendary Burgers Tavern — in the process expanding Bagger Dave’s outside Michigan.

Bill Zellmer and Lonnie Griggs are opening the first franchised Bagger Dave’s s in Cape Girardeau, Mo., and plan to open five more over the next five years.

Zellmer and Griggs currently operate six Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants and learned of the fast-casual Bagger Dave’s from Michael Ansley, president and CEO of Diversified Restaurant Holdings and franchisor of 22 Buffalo Wild Wings. More.
