Entrepreneurs Combine Paint And Junk

Jim Bodden had been a house painter for more than 20 years when the unthinkable happened – Brian Scudamore of 1-800-Got-Junk, the wildly successful franchisor quoted in all of Bodden’s favourite business magazines, sent him an email and asked to be involved in his business.

“When I got that email – Brian Scudamore – at first I thought it might have been junk mail,” Bodden said. “Then I opened it up and oh! Wow! It was ‘Let’s get together over a beer and talk about your business.’” Within four months, the two men were partners in a new house-painting franchise called 1-888-Wow-1Day! Painting.
