Puget Sound Business Journal (blog):

The Rock, Wood Fired Pizza & Spirits group has prospered by putting restaurants in small towns and suburbs. Now the concept is being tested in an urban setting, just a short walk from Seattle Center.

The newest Rock is in the trendy two-year-old Maxwell Hotel at 300 Roy St. in Seattle.

“It’s in a city. It’s in a hotel. We’re doing room service! It’s like nothing we’ve ever done before,” said Jay Gigandet, The Rock’s CFO and co-founder and co-owner with president Don Bellis.
